Visit of the Council of Europe's Commissioner

Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Human Rights and National Minorities Rudolf Chmel on 27th of September receives in his office Thomas Hammarberg, Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights. The topics of their discussion include human rights and minority rights issues, and also the Government´s Council of Human Rights, National Minorities and Gender Equality. The Commissioner for Human Rights is an independent institution within the Strasbourg-based Council of Europe, mandated to promote the awareness of and respect for human rights in member states.
